Children are eligible for admission to Canvey Island Infant School’s (CIIS) Nursery from the day after their 3rd birthday. If you would like your child to start attending from the day after their birthday, you will need to pay for these sessions as the funding does not start until the term after (see the table below).

You can register your interest for a place at CIIS Nursery for the academic years 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
Acceptance of a Nursery place will not automatically entitle a child to a place in the main school at the appropriate time.
