• St Nicholas Church Christmas Tree Festival

  Over this weekend (22nd - 24th November), St Nicholas Church (Long Road) are holding their annual Christmas tree festival.

  All of the children in the school have decorated a little card to put on the tree. Each class had a different theme:

  Class 1 - Angels

  Class 2 - Presents

  Class 3 - Holly leaves

  Class 4 - Christmas trees

  Class 5 - Stars

  Class 6 - Snowmen

  Everyone is welcome to attend the festival and vote for their favourite trees. The tree with the most votes could win a money voucher to spend as they wish.

  

• Children in Need

  On Friday 15th November, the children and staff at Canvey Infants enjoyed dressing in spots and in Pudsey and Blush outfits and accessories for Children in Need. Thank you for all your support and donations, the children looked fab!

  

• Harvest Assembly

  On the 13th November, we held our Harvest assembly at Canvey Island Infant School. Mrs Matthews spoke to the children about different harvest festivals around the word. The children then sang the song ‘Harvest Tango’.
  We would like to say thank you for all the donations of food from the children and their families.
