• 💃🕺Dance Festival 2023🕺💃

  Today, 24 Year 2 children enjoyed taking part in this year's SSP Dance Festival, which took place back at the Palace Theatre after two years being held virtually.

  The children had been attending rehearsals at lunchtimes throughout January, which showed their commitment to the event.

  Despite some usual pre-show nerves, the children were BRILLIANT on stage and the whole audience loved their performance - you are all stars and we are very proud of you! 🌟

  Well done also to Miss Bibby who choreographed and taught the dance this year - excellent job! 👍

  The Year 1 children recently enjoyed a Victorian day in school. They came to school dressed up, sat in rows in the classroom and completed a variety of activities from that time.

  Before the half term, some of the Year 2 children took part in the SSP Dance Festival.

  Before the Dance Festival started, the children performed the dance for the first time to an audience to the rest of the school in assembly.

  This year, the Dance Festival was run virtually and the children took part from our school hall.

  Despite a few nerves to begin with, they all did AMAZINGLY and all thoroughly enjoyed it.

  A big 'well done' to each and every one of you - we are so very proud of you all! 🌟😊

  As we couldn't have a sports day this year in school, we decided to have a virtual one instead 😀

  A very big 'well done' and 'thank you' to all those who took part, it sounded like you all thoroughly enjoyed yourselves and your families often got involved too 🙂
